M-RET (org-meta-return)
Inserts a new heading (either before or after the current heading, depending on the location of the cursor)
The variable org-M-RET-may-split-line
allows the splitting of a heading. Turn it off.
C-RET (org-insert-heading-respect-content)
Inserts a new heading at the end of the current subtree.
M-LEFT (org-do-promote) and M-RIGHT (org-do-demote) promote or demote headings
M-S-LEFT (org-promote-subtree) and M-S-RIGHT (org-demote-subtree) promotes or demotes subtrees
M-UP (org-move-subtree-up) and M-DOWN (org-move-subtree-down) move subtrees up and down
C-c @ (org-mark-subtree)
org-yank-folded-subtrees – set to nil so that subtrees are not pasted folded. I like to see what I am pasting.
